Fallon Fur Sale

Well guys it's right around the corner!! Hope everyone has their fur all put up and looking PURDY!

BBQ is on for Saturday. Any help would be appreciated. Here's what we have so far.... (will update as we go)

-I will bring the burgers.
-Tracy is getting buns and condiments
-Don has got plates, Utensils and chips
-Matt is getting water and soda
-Leo's got a side dish and a dessert


Looks like we need some side dishes, utensils, plates and anything else you guys want to bring.

Well BBQ is pretty much cover minus some cooking utensils....

So is everyone really for the sale! I think it's going to be good for cats and coyotes.

Sold the majority of my coyotes already sonwont have much fur this year but my daughter will have a little batch of muskrats to sell. May have a bunch of questions about rat put up so water Trappers be ready. Should be a good time and excited to see everyone and shoot the breeze. Going to have some coyote glands and a couple solid wood cat stretchers if anyone is interested.

How do they look?

I have the cooking utensils in the bar-b-que.
I have never used solid boards for muskrats;however these look great. Nothing nicer than good spring rats that's finally fully prime.

Well I think there were a lot of happy Trappers this weekend in Fallon. Last I heard $1467 was high cat for the sale. Was good to catch up with everyone.

Lance, thanks for bringing burgers and cooking for everyone! The handmade burgers were awesome, I think it out the buyers in a good buying mood for later in the afternoon Runor has it that the kids were on a sugar high for hours after the sale, Tracy I hope the candy they found was for their enjoyment and not a secret walk through lure!

It was great seeing a lot of you and shooting the breeze. May the next two days treat everyone great finishing the season and I hope we all get our goals accomplished in the off season. Please everyone, become vocal to our state legislatures when needed this spring, we need a unified front to be able to enjoy trapping each year.

Sounds like a good time!
