TRAPPING COUNTRY

Post some pics of country that you like to trap. I am not talking exact locations just the country that makes you stop and look and why?

" /> Ridges with cover.

" /> Rocky knobs. Not when you get a ton of snow but still good country.

" /> Big country. sorry for the blurry photo.

" /> I know one person who see's this will know right where it is!! That's ok because he told me about the spot!! HA ha.

" /> Can't pass up spots like this for sure. THere was no good country around this for miles but big Toms don't care and will cruze for a long way to check this spot!

Lots of brush and Cedar in the draws and washes..  " />....

This wash looked like a good spot. Click on the image for the video and notice how this cat did a U Turn when he smelled that lure.

Here's a lone tree just above a spring. It seems to be a good location.

" /> Big steep draws that lead to heavy brush. Note the willows in the bottom of the draw. Good cover for food source.

Here's a spot at a guzzler that I thought was a good spot for a cat. I guess it was, but the cat I saw was just lion around.

Who? Me? Not at all. Just thought the folks would like to see some movement . . . and some cats AT the locations. Love your pictures. Giving me some ideas for sure.

BUCKS, you trap in some locations that produce some outstanding cats. They all have great color. I need to use Tracy's video as motivation to get my butt out and set up the four trail cams that I bought myself for x-mas :/

Devildog that is some great looking country also. Funny how you can find those cats anywhere you live!

ag teach I saw rose bushes in your latest cat pics. No flowers on them to smell this time of year.

Here is a giant bear that I didn't see until I walked by him at about 15 yards, he hung out for a awhile. He liked cat lure too, tore up a few sets!

I sure did! Great looking country, I miss being horseback out there! I like the old cabin in that canyon too

I plan on doing a lot more scouting over there. I just scratched the surface over there! Tons of good looking country I drove by!!

Ya, it's an awesome place! Here's another good spot, this rim rock runs about 200 yards, below it is a creek with thick sage and willows. I found cat tracks stalking sage hen tracks, pretty cool.

Way cool !!!!

Here's a pic from last year. The rock ledge behind me has never let me down.
