Is pay pal the only means of payment

No I had heard you can also pay with a credit card

Aparently that link was hard to find, but I was told someone would make it more user friendly

i tried to pay with a CC, kept taking me to paypal, didnt want to set up an account just for that, hope they do, i would like to get it, thanks Bg

I havent tried yet so i dont know for sure. I will be buying it, but not thru paypal, so hopefully it does come up soon.

Well I havent purchased it yet, but i will get around to it. If I figure out how to avoid paypal I will let you know.

We're already having people subscribe to Trapper's Post, and a question has come up.

When you go to the "subscribe" page there's a way to pay through PayPal. We've had several emails and phone calls saying they can't subscribe because they don't have a PayPal account. But you don't need one.

The line under the PayPal line says, "No PayPal account? Use your credfit card or bank account (where available)."

If you want to use your credit card instead of PayPal, just check (click on) the circle before the above statement and fill out the information below it, then hit "continue" and you'll be walked through the rest of the process.

We'll have a note to that effect on the "subscribe" pages tomorrow morning.

We ran into a slight occasional snag with PayPal, some people can't access our site again after using them, plus a few folks who don't want to open a PayPal account haven't been able to subscribe with their own credit cards. The glitch seems to be in PayPal's system and we'll be on it first thing Monday morning, when we can reach them.

In the meantime, you can subscribe without using a credit card. Contact us by phone at 207-660-2380 or by e-mail at info@trapperspost.com and give us the address you want the magazine sent to, and your billing address (if that's different) and we'll simply invoice you for the amount. Pay us by check or MO when you get the bill, or by credit card then.

Hey folks we got the PayPal glitch fixed.

Click on the "subscribe" link, select the option (1 year, 2 year, etc.) then click on "Buy Now." That takes you to the PayPal page.

If you DON'T want to use PayPal, go to the bottom of the page to where it says, "Don't have a PayPal account?" Then click on "continue" and use your credit card like any other on-line purchase.

Tim Rose - we're going to have a Calendar of Events but it will be only for major ones like conventions. We can't use too much space printing too many local events like trapper ed dates and places, etc. because many of the readers wouldn't be interested unless they live nearby. However we do intend to offer state associations a reduced rate if they want us to carry their newsletters, and that would be the right place for local announcements like that.

I'm putting the first issue together right now. Any interest in an occasional furbearer recipe? I got some from the North Carolina State University Extension Service.
