Have any of you guys talked to any buyers in Kansas that are buying? If so what did they say about cats and who were they? I'm having a hard time getting very excited about trapping cats if they aren't worth anything. I might just leave them alone this year but don't know if I can. LOL

I am feeling the same way. Love to catch them but gotta be smart about it. Lets put it this way I am hearing talk of $100 average on Utah cats right now, kittens and females almost worthless. Not very good when compared to previous years

well, i was going to find out tomorrow, but i have been so sick the last 3 days, i am going to the doctor instead of the fur buyer in nebraska tomorrow

I am sick too, had sheep coming thru my area so pulled traps. When I feel better going to set a new area

Top price for a western grade cats around here, $50. The average cats are going to be cheap with most of them not breaking $25. Forget milk stained sows or kittens, they are worth less than the traps you are using to catch them.

I might have to go with the total catch and release program this year. I always do let all the females a kittens go if not damaged. I can't see killing too many Toms for $25 but I don't think I can keep from catching a few just to do it. I wait all year for Cat trapping.
