Bobcat Trapping Help

Hello, Im from North Central Kansas and I had a few bobcat trapping questions!

I set up a trap on a trail that I had evidence of bobcats on (scat and prints). I set it on a Thursday and I didn't get anything that night. I wasn't able to check them for a few days so I set it off the the side. When I came back to reset on Sunday, there was more scat. so I set the trap on the trail. Monday morning the trap had some feathers there and was set off. Either a bird of some kind set it off or I had something that didn't commit.

Any advice on my set or how to improve?

Mix it up with a cubby or trail set. I looked at the pic and the scat really doesn't look like cat to me? The location u picked looks good but a little congested?
