#2 Bridgers Empty
PostSubject: #2 Bridgers    #2 Bridgers EmptyMon Apr 21, 2014 11:19 am

Had a little it of time the other day and started to mod up some of these #2 Bridgers that I have. Baseplate, laminated, PIT pan and 4 coiled them. I had about 2 doz 550s with 4 coils and I took all them off because I wanted to start catching the fox working my sets. I took the 4 coils and put them on these Bridgers. IMO the Bridger 2 coils are very weak, now they are about the same as a 2 coiled 550.

I only have 5 of these that I am playing around with but if anyone need 5 #2 Bridger pans with bolts let me know... Also have 5 sets of jaws that have lug welded offsets.

Jack Kelly showed me some #2 traps that I believe were bridgers, but they didn't have the type of pan and dog as pictured as the one above. It came base plated and looked to be a great trap. He said he picked them up pretty reasonable. They have a pretty big catch area between the jaws and a bigger pan than a lot of traps. He said they come with about a 12" chain and two box type swivels. Looked like with just a little work and adjustments, they would work great as a combo trap for coyotes, fox or cats.
