| Looks like you did better then most... seems like a lot of cats in the $150-$300 range? Poor handling small cats? | |

| Handling the last few years seems a lot better. Didn't look at that many this year. We do a pretty good job in putup. Not like Nevada where you top 20 handlers might bring in 1000 cats and bump the average up. Here our top 20 bring in 60 which doesn't make up for a few poorly handled furs. I think a lot of the mid range ones are early caught. | |

| I saw my results when it let me log in but now it won't let me any more. Everything I thought I new about cats just went out the window. My worst cats brought about a $500 average and my best toms about a $225 average. This on 8 northern Arizona cats. Just wierd. Not sure if being later in the sale had anything to do with it. | |

| 37 to 38" females. They were good looking for females but not what the toms were. I've sold at Nephi for more than 10 years and never could have guessed this one. | |

| There must have been a computer glitch in the new system. Can log in now and prices looked a lot better. | |

| The grey fox looked like it was an out of season, poorly stretched hide. I think I would have been embarassed to try and sell the sad thing. I went through all the fur prior to the bid calling process and saw quite a few furs that were poorly handled. About half the cats were not stretched Nevada style, and the low priced cat was a tanned cat someone was trying to sell. Some of the fur looked to be put up by beginners, and its sad that at these sales they don't have a demo to educate new trappers how to properly put up fur (possibly an idea for the Rondy you guys in Nevada are having, if you are already doing this). Didn't see where the female cats were bringing more than the good bellied males though like I heard about in Utah. There were 8 or 9 buyer at this sale, and even a buyer that I sold to back in my teens was there (Moscow Hide and Fur, Gary Schroeder). | |
