I have caught 3 female Bobcats in about a 4 square mile area. Should I leave the traps and wait for a male or should I pull the traps and set on fresh sign? Good news is that I saw a cat less than 1/2 mile from one of my traps last night on my way home from work, no rifle with me of course. This is my first year of trapping cats and would appreciate any feedback.

If it were me I would have tried to let the females go if possible. Taking 3 females could put a dent in the future. You might want to give the area a rest for awhile.
