North American Coyote Trapping Contest

thought this might interest some of you western guys who were talking about trapping a reservation earlier, saw this on t-man,
The contest is in north west New Mexico on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation.

Dates-August 25-Sept 5
camp day August 25
Scout days August 26,and 27
Set day Aug 28
pull traps sept 5

7 check days with no more than 100 traps in the ground at any given time
Max 12 teams
22 cal hand guns only allowed on Reservation
No calling,snares or hunting9strickly trapping)
Winner last year got 35 coyotes

Not interested at all. Not paying to go trap a reservation and have the catch stolen by Indians for a bounty.
Not interested in showing the world how to.
Besides I'm busy working and can't get the time off.

Sounds like fun but some of those guys are way out of my league. I'd just embarrass myself.
