When I was setting the other day I realized I had made a mistake. I was in an area that has been good to me but there was a spot on top that I thought would be better. I told myself for the last year that I would scout this area before this season started. I never did. Well when I went out to set the other day I decided to set up this new area. I loaded up all the supplies and headed for the top. It looked good, I found 3 fresh sets of tracks, but there was not the perfect spot to work them. So I ended up going back to the truck and setting the old reliables. Ultimately it ended up costing me 3 hours. Lesson learned.....do your preseason scouting.
