Cat season is upon us

Hello fellow cat trappers. Any of you out there?

Season is still a month away here in Idaho, but I'm busy getting ready. Traps are dyed and waxed, been making more pan covers, and even been making my own bait (first time doing so).

Last year was brutal for me. Didn't put alot of sets out, but I did put out a few and didn't connect with a single cat. The heavy snows and winds really made it hard. I did have a couple refusals though -which is where the idea for the new bait comes in. Hoping to hit things a little harder this year and connect on a hand-full of em.

How about all of you? Some of you, in places where the season has already started, are probably out catch them right now. Anything so far?

Here in AZ the season started on the first of November, but personally I cannot even get sets out until Christmas time, college sucks sometimes....
