What are you guys hearing for starting prices on cats? Or does it even matter to you guys?

havent heard, only found 2 buyers, one 3 hrs away and the other in nebraska, dont know the one 3 hrs away, but the one in nebraska woulnt give a price it was graded upon seeing it, they $5 to$ 80 last year for kansas cats

Hearing cats half from last years price, if you can find someone to buy. Hearing no hard orders for cats, don't think anyone will be beating the brush to buy them.
The one fur buyer here I wouldn't sell road kill to him.

I am hearing 150 to 200 on top end cats. These being the Utah/Nevada types along with Idaho/ some Wyoming and the right Oregon cats

I'm hearing (now) a average of only $150. No one knows and the whole fur market is a speculation buying. No firm orders for anything other than rats.

been so busy, going here and there, hadnt had any time to get any traps out, well today i finally got some live traps set and a few coon sets out, so i am going now slow but sure

Good luck and be safe!! I still have a couple weeks to go, but I will trap as I always do. I'll work more on other critters like Red/Gray Fox this year, just practice on other sets to see how they work in my area.
