| Anyone want to guess what this cat has in it's mouth? I just pulled the card yesterday and I'm not sure what I'm seeing. | |

| That's what I thought it was. Does it seem to be moving to you?
I meant, is the critter in the cats mouth moving?

I have this cat on video late last season but had pulled my traps. Didn't put any trail cams out until Nov this year and got video of it twice in 4 days. If it's the same cat it grew some from last year. Probably a resident on my farm, just wondering if it's a female, anyone know how to sex a cat from a video. lol We've been in a terrible drought last 5 years but this season we are covered up in small game animals so I think we're seeing a rebound in predator numbers too.

| Yes, appears to be still kicking somewhat.
I've been lucky enough to get cats twice with prey in their mouth (one pack rat and one snake). Neither critter was dead. The cat played with the snake for about 10 minutes before it left. Its my opinion that cats rarely kill their prey outright. Now why they keep it alive is an issue we could debate for a while.

I saw your video a couple weeks ago, pretty cool. I guess most cats play with their kills.
When I first downloaded my video on my computer I thought I was seeing was a kitten. Then decide it was a rat instead.
Lots of prey means lots of cats, I hope.
