Coming home from running my line, and a red fox ran across the road infront of me about 3 blocks from my house, never trapped a red before, will they go in cages, or are they like coyotes and slim to none? i have cages down below where i saw it on my 9 acre alfalfa field, should i get some fox pee and squirt in the back of the cage or will cat pee work?

when i was in iowa we caught a few in cages and i have talked to people and they say they will go into them pretty easy but i dont have enough here to give you a great answer for sure. i think some fox pee wouldnt hurt if you want them in a cage. ill get a hold of a guy i know today that traps alot of fox and see what he says
