Cats starting to move Empty
PostSubject: Cats starting to move   Cats starting to move EmptyMon Jan 11, 2010 12:59 pm

Had a little low pressure system come through, followed by some nice warm weather. Must have stirred the cats up some.

Even made the deer and the coyotes stir a bit.

Tracy, I am not very familiar with bobcats, let alone that rocky substrate you successfully trap in. Do you stake or use drags on your line there?

Do your grey fox live in that same habitat/territory harmoniously with the bobcat and coyotes? I have no bobcat in my immediate region and never had an opportunity trap them.

Thanks.

Jonathan

I have similar territory drags or stakes work fine. The advantage to staking is you know where the trap will be. Most places you can get a stake in or wire to a rock type drag.

Nice Tracy. Thanks to you and your cage trapping video i set my first line out today. Only got six cages out today but hopefully tomorrow I will double that. I met you at the Globe convention. Thanks for the tips in your video.
