| Kind of a tough vote, I like Montanas, Montgomery's, and the MB650's, and all for different reasons, but I guess I like the dogless traps. | |

| See me oon the other hand, really dislike dogless traps. The ones you mentioned are quality made no doubt, but I have had more bad catches with dogless versus dog on | |

| I personally like the Bridger's, but I also like the victors and the #3 duke soft catches. Of course I am fond of Sleepy Creek 220's and Bridger 160's. One of the other traps I really like would be called other, they are the live traps that I make............Phil | |

| Honestly I will say KB, MB, and Jakes are better traps than my Bridgers. When I weighed all the options though, Bridgers are better for my situation | |

| When I went to NM I preferred the #2 Bridger's, because they don't take up a lot of room and they were lighter to carry on the four wheeler than the #3 traps are. I could carry a lot more to set at a time on the four wheeler. | |

| Admin it took me awhile to figure out how to get the montanas and monty's adjusted for higher pan tension, really when the montanas came out I had them figured out already cause of the monty's, but now I can adjust them to get as high as #5 if i wanted to, but I like 3 to 4 pounds on my pans.
And I agree, nothing wrong with bridgers out then they have a dog, and I just dont care for dogged traps. | |

| Cattrax can you describe how you do adjust this pan tension. I have messed with it a little bit but still could not get it perfect | |

| I use a flat file on the notch on the pan where it slips over the jaw, and file it a little deeper, if your not careful thugh you can go to deep on the pan notch and add way to much pan tension, or if you round the top you can reduce the pan tension, I will try to make a video of it and post it for you. | |

| I really like the MB-650's but only could afford a few so far. I usually use fully modded Bridger #3's | |

| Personally out of the traps MB makes I like the 550's best. Square jaws are very important for me when buying a trap though so that is why i go with the Bridgers | |

| We run more #3 bridgers than any outher trap, But i do like them fully mod, But now with are cat sets going to 90percent exsposed, im liking the longsprings alot more. Caught alot of cats in montanas and montgomerys, Must say im likeing the dogless traps more and more, I caught a nice big tom last year in a mb550, But i just don't see spending that much more mony on them. | |

| I started out with Vic 1.75's for everything. I've had real good luck with placement and stepping sticks. If it aint broke . . . | |
