Huntinglonewolf,
Is that a pile of dried grass placed there like that or is it a clump that was there already?

i've got to agree that a cat can't pass up a dirthole... i also like a highly visible flat set with a smear of some good cat gland lure.

The grass was already there. Them cats sure love that gland lure.

The posi pans measure 3 1/8" long by 2 3/8" wide. The stock pans are 2 9/16" long by 1 13/16" wide. Quite a difference.

Most of my cats sets are exposed trap walk-throughs. Especially if I think or know I will be dealing with snow.

Next season I will be using more dirtholes in the beggining of the season. I plan on using a 2" and 3" auger in an 18v cordless in the future.
