Bobcat Trapping Help

I dont seem to get much activity in my traps. I try to find trails that are active or have scat.

I use lure, bait in dirt hole, and set my trap very well and bed it.

Never seems to be anything around? Am i just too impatient?

Try finding tight spots in the trails that you can put in trail sets where you can force the cat into stepping on the pan. I personally use exposed traps on those type sets and I would think most guys on here do the same. I've gotten to where I set almost 2 trail sets to every 1 flat set or dirt hole. If you are in an area where cats are moving you will catch them the next time they come through.

If you aren't already doing this try some visual attractions in addition to scat.
