I'm still new to trapping but I like the Bridger 1.75's. I bought them with the base plates and PIT pans. For the money they've treated me the best so far.

I bought a dozen MB's this spring with my "winnings" I've heard good things and I like the way they are out the box ready. I just hope they pay for themselves this season.

I have tried just about all the brands out there and the saying get what you pay for stands!! Bridger pretty good but need work to make them solid. MB are a great trap right out of the box for sure but spendy. But you don't want to spend all that time scouting and setting to have a trap that won't fire short and fast and then not hold your prized cat or whatever you are trapping solid. I prefer the MB450 offsets. Thanks Cameron for showing them to me and making me spend all my money !!!!!! Very Happy

The ones that have cats waiting for me in them! Those are my favorite.
I am still learning about traps and only have one brand that i use. I have Sleepy Creek #4 and #3 coil spring traps. The reason I use them besides the fact they are made in the USA is I purchased a dozen to try and had great results right out of the box. The first one i ever set took two consecutive giant Toms and that made me a believer. I know any good trap would do the same it just set the tone for me to stick with them and i ended up buying another 7 dozen. I have since learned quite allot more about traps and trap brands, that being said there are allot of options out there and you will have to figure out what you like best.

I have some 550's that I like. I also like to mod my own traps. I would rather spend a little more time tweaking them and less money on the trap. Now I have dukes Bridget's Montgomery's Montana's I just buy them mod them and that's that.
