| Great job on the coyotes. Nice pictures, appreciate you posting them. Makes me want to leave work and go coyote hunting. Where did you get the short handled shovel you have mounted on your 4 wheeler? Looks like what I have been wanting and need. | |

| I don't know about NVsage, but I use both a 22-250 and a 223 for long shots and a 12 ga shotgun with 3" bb'S for the close shots when I'm calling. | |

| .204 is hit and miss but most times it leaves a dime size entry hole with no exit but if you hit low or high you will tear em up... Good kill shot leaves no damage to pelt. | |

| love my .204 but have been getting pretty fond of my .222 i got from a freind that found it in a family friends house after it burned down. Turned out it was my dads long ago. They traded guns back and forth. Needs to be re blued but i like it. Savage 24v 222 over 20ga

| I had one of those in the past. Put a 6X Weaver on it and shot many coyotes, greyfox and a couple of bobcats. Not to mention quail, dove and a few ducks. Liked the fact that I could break it down and put it in a pack. | |

| Good job NVsage. Keep up the good work. Love that you are whacking those yotes good!!!! I use a .221 fireball with balistic tips. They seem to penatrate good but most of the time don't come out. The only downfall is turns the insides to jello!!! | |

Ridge sorry missed this post. I picked up the shovel at Home Depot and have only had to use it to fill in badger holes as of yet but will have it if I ever get in any sticky situations. I also carry every fire starting thing imaginable and a tarp in the box of my quad, you never know what's going to happen?!?

Ahh yes... Forgot picked this guy up at a dirt hole for yotes near a bunch of willows along the river. I have had a lot of first this season. Picked up my first otter, kit fox and gray fox last check. Got 2 weeks off and them will be back to running very few traps again... It's been fun though and will save up some vacation time to do it again next year!

| Looks like a good catch hold on the foot. Are you using the enlarged pans on these coyote traps?

| Just the shelfliner pan covers I make and thats it. They seem to be really working well as all my catches are well above the pad. | |

| They look like what Steve Woods uses for cats if I remember correctly. Are you covering them with dirt or just sprinkling dirt on the pan covers? | |
