| Here is something that you don’t see every day. This morning I was sitting in my house drinking coffee when a bobcat walked around the house in the edge of the green wheat field. He was eating the green wheat. I watched him go down my driveway and when he was about 80 yd from my house he emptied his stomach. The green wheat and a big hair ball are what were lying in the driveway in this picture. I think this was a one year old tom that I released at the end of the season. That cat I caught less than 40 yards from the house. The cat liked to come up to the urine cages and visit the other cats. When I went out to work on the shed, I could tell that he had marked the shed and the shop to let me know that he was there. | |

| That's easy scouting. All I get is the neighbors dog dumps on my lawn. Actually had a couple coyotes run through one day. One day the neighbors dog dumped on my lawn and I grabbed a plastic grocery bag to pick it up, Cuervo, the dog was still in the yard so I called him over and tied the present to his collar and sent him home. I was embarrassed when Patty got the present, It was meant for Chris (her husband) and a long time friend of mine. I probably owed Chris a few. Not Patty, Pretty funny though. | |

| Where I live is pretty cool. I see deer and wild turkeys all of the time. They both walk through my yard. The bucks keep trying to kill the trees. I do see coyotes sometimes in the spring and summer and then when trapping starts, they somehow seem to disappear. I also see bobcats a lot more often than I ever thought that I would. A lot of the time they are moving around in the middle of the day. Two summers ago it would be well over 100 deg and an old female would be walking across the field near the house with a rabbit that she had just caught to feed her young. Last summer the cats had a large toilet less than 20 yards from the house. I do trap some of the cats that are around here, but I only keep older males and I keep releasing all of the rest. When I am keeping cats in the winter, bobcats will come right up to the cages at night and visit. Of course they also eat some of the food that I have for the caged cats. I really do enjoy living here. | |

| Went chasing lions with a friend the other weekend and found a fresh deer kill from a lion. There were yote tracks and bobcat tracks all around it?? Found this odd because the lion will eat or kill them too? Guess hunger will make you do crazy things!!!! | |

| Hmm ... Sounds like exposed bait to me... Maybe there is Trappers in the animal kingdom Also..just sayin. LOL
I have hounds ( 1-walker, 1-catahula, 1-black and tan ) just have not finished training .. not enough hours in a day. And now i have pups to train.. I need to stop this silly coachin stuff... Or dreamin about chasing lions. I have a buddy that has trained hounds here if i was smart i would tag along with him. Hmm .. sounds cheaper .
It sure is a rush to be on the chase.
