| i have 6 northwood #3's, the pans are nighlatched, is there any other pan that i can use to replace these, nightlatching not done real good, want to get away from the nightlatch by replacing the pans, any help will be apprieciated | |

| try bridger #3 pans, you might have to change the dogs out depending on how your dog was trimmed. | |

| i saw that pit pans makes one for the northwoods, ever try them? i had planned on putting new dogs on with the pans just to make sure everything would be compatable and work for adjusting, thanks Dawgz | |

| I would think the Bridger pans and dogs would work but I can't say for sure. I have put alot of Pit Pans on #3 Bridgers and really liked them. | |

| i think it will be a good investment, these traps come with the nightlatch and they are thin metaled latch and hair triggered buggers, i think my fingers will thank me | |

| got the pits on today, man they go on easy and set up was a cinch. every trap i have will have one if they preform like i heard. | |

| finished up dipping the last of my traps the other day, all put up now till this fall, got a half doz 160's i need to de grease and paint, and then start making some 1/16 snares, man i hate the off season, there is only so much tinkering you can do | |

| someday guys, i will have built up to be like you, but for now, this is enjoyable enough for us, need to pull some irons from the fire, but it seems everytime i do, 2 more get added, right now till the boy gets alittle older and can do more, we are using the KISS method, | |

| I'm a north woods fan and I also night latch. I've been using them for about 30 yrs. You can increase the pan tension by tightening the pan bolt this is the way I do it. You can also get new dogs from Top Dog these are longer and then file the notch deeper this is a cheaper way to go. | |
