| I really don't think you are asking too much for a location to be mandatory for when a person is making a statement such as lures used, hide prices, etc. it helps to understand where they are from. Just my thought for I was looking at someones go to liure and he says Joe's #1 and I look for a location and he can be from the moon for all I know. | |

| I think it is a nice courtesy to post it. Maybe some are concerned that they will have their trapping grounds invaded by state hoppers or something if they post their location. | |

| just listing a state helps...egads..that's one heck of a lot of territory or they can say southeastern US..if they are willing to tell you with a PM I really see no threat. Dawgz...can you explain to me why you find it inconvenient to clear it up?
I do is not much of an explanation other than non conformity.

| Location should be mandatory as most forums it is and it helps people know if they want to ask a question where someone is from. |

If you make it manditory make it by region, like Pacific Northwest, southwest, rocky mountains, upper midwest, central midwest, lower midwest, north east, south east, so on and so on. Thats close enough for everyone to get the general idea where someone is located. | |
